Putting My Experience
to Work
Since I was young, I have felt a desire to use my skills and resources to make my community a better place to live. Including volunteer work with my local child care center, the Special Olympics, and other community engagement activities, my time has been spent serving those around me.
Along with community service, I have taken advantage of every opportunity provided to me in both my professional and personal lives. I am the Chair of the Cedar Falls Human Rights Commission, leading the group in coordinating Outreach, Education, and Advocacy for the rights for all who work, live, or visit the city of Cedar Falls.
